Don’t want to throw out those old bananas? Whip up this recipe really quick and enjoy with a warm cup of coffee. We make this banana bread recipe at least once a week in our home. It is delicious and your kitchen will smell amazing!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 ¾ cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325° F
  • Whisk together eggs, milk, and oil in a large bowl
  • Mix in the mashed bananas, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla to the mixture
  • Add flour, baking soda, and salt, do not over mix
  • Stir in chopped walnuts (optional)
  • Pour mixture into a greased 9×5 loaf pan
  • Bake at 325° F for 60 min. Check after an hour and bake longer if needed.
